Operator News in Alaska, Europe, Canada, and Greece!
Heliski season is in full swing. We have news from most of our operators that most of their 2014 seats are filled, and first clients face shots and dreams have been fulfilled. However, if you haven’t booked your trip yet (particularly for Alaska or Sweden), don’t despair, we can get you set up quickly. We have some new products and new from some of our operators as follows:
Alaska: Our Alaskan operator out of Valdez has made some changes to his operation. For this season, in addition to the wonderful lodge accommodation, they are taking over the cuisine fully and it will be inclusive rather than exclusive of the package. Fear not- there’ll be the same epic powder and wild steeps as last year.
Europe: Our French operator has developed 3 new 400m2 Canadian Heli Lodge Style chalets made by HUF HAUSE purpose built for heli skiing. They are state of the art with floor to ceiling glass,indoor / outdoor pool, outdoor beach style Ibiza terrace with fire pits, BBQ, sound system, hot tubs. Guests will be able to rent the chalet by the week or stay in the boutique style hotel (max 16 beds) Restaurant style eating and dinning on the top floor.
Greece: Fancy Heli Skiing with the Gods? We’ve been contacted by an established operator from Nepal about his new operation in Greece, near Mount Olympus. We are looking into it. Apparently the powder snow aint too shabby up there with Ulysses and the other deities. Watch this space!
